Heat the oil in a large heavy based pan and fry the onions for 8-10 minutes until browned
Stir in the ginger, garlic, salt, spices and tomatoes and cook gently for 5 minutes.
Add the prawns and peas, stir, cover and simmer on a low heat for 15- 20 minutes. Add a little water if required and stir occasionally.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve with warm naan bread or rice.
